Flyway Cities Coalition - Making homes for wildlife on the move

How You Can Contribute To The Flyway Cities Coalition:

  1. Volunteer with a FCC partner organization near you. Click here for a list of partner organizations or visit the San Diego Area Nonprofit Environmental Events Calendar to find an upcoming event.

  2. Learn about native plants and plant them in your yard.

  3. Inspire and teach others how to garden for wildlife.

  4. If you are a school, become a schoolyard habitat! See our list of local resources for how you can create a schoolyard garden.

  5. Businesses can certify their properties too! Visit our native plant section to get started or contact the National Wildlife Federation to learn more about how to certify your property. A certified habitat will not only save you water and maintenance costs, but is also a great team-building activity for employees.

  6. If you are an organization that would like to be a part of this collaborative effort, please contact the FCC Coordinator, Shannon Dougherty, at 619-682-7210 or dougherty@sandiegoaudubon.org.

Get involved in the Flyway Cities Coalition! Join with others in your metropolitan area to protect and restore wildlife habitat.
