Where are the Flyway Cities?

Flyway Cities Coalitions have already been launched in Atlanta, Georgia, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and San Diego, California, and new Flyway Cities Coalitions will launch soon.

Flyway Cities Coalitions are in the planning stages for:

• Austin (Central Flyway)
• Boston (Atlantic Flyway)
• Chicago (Mississippi Flyway)
• Denver (Central Flyway)
• Seattle (Pacific Flyway)

Coalition working groups will be formed in other cities in subsequent years, increasing and connecting quality land and water habitats within each flyway as the Coalition grows.

The Model Flyway City

The model flyway city is an urban/suburban area that has achieved measurable growth in the area and quality of connected wildlife habitats that encompass both private and public lands and waters, with a human social network of citizens and groups that are engaged in protecting them through sustained activism.
